WA construction company JAXON has recently been awarded the contract to construct GM Property Group’s (GMPG) apartment complex Horizon on Scarborough Beach. This $20 million project of 39 apartments on Brighton Road in the Scarborough Beach Foreshore precinct is due to commence this month, with an 18 month construction period. This is the second time that JAXON has worked together with GMPG, with the first project being the recently completed SouthBank apartment complex in South Perth which is now sold out. JAXON has built a portfolio of high-end apartment projects in outstanding locations, and is known as the ‘accommodation specialists’ amongst the Perth construction scene.
Their projects include Pinnacle Apartments in South Perth, right next to the Perth Zoo, Cirque Apartments in Mt Pleasant, and the high profile construction of luxury scholar accommodation at UWA, Forrest Hall. The Project Manager of Horizon at Scarborough Beach will be Sarah Poggioli, who previously managed the South Perth apartment construction for GMPG’.GMPG Director Simon Munckton said that ‘ JAXON is a well known and respected WA owned and operated construction company, and by awarding them the contract assures us that our project is in safe hands’.
